Sreekanth Kannan
Trustee
Kannan migrated to Bangalore from Kerala. He has been working in the area of Gender and Sexuality over the past 14 years. He is one of the co-founding members of Raahi, and has been the Treasurer since its inception. He is also a board member of other community organisations like Sahayathrika, Kerala and Karnataka Sexual Minority Forum. He has been working in an NGO called Aneka in Bangalore since 2012, and currently holds the position of Executive Director there.
Deeptha Rao VN

Deeptha is an advocate whose main areas of work include domestic violence, gender and sexuality, mental health and media law. She worked on litigation and research at the Alternative Law Forum, Bangalore from 2015 to 2018. She is one of Raahi's co-founding members and is currently Raahi's Secretary. She is also a board member of the Archive, Memory and Education Trust, Bangalore and teaches Law and Ethics at the Indian Institute of Journalism and New Media, Bangalore.
Nitya Vasudevan
Trustee
Nitya Vasudevan teaches undergraduate students as part of the BA English faculty group at Azim Premji University, Bangalore. She has also been a co-director of the Bangalore Queer Film Festival for the last 10 years. She has worked as faculty at the Centre for Wellness and Justice at Baduku Community College, Bangalore. She was Convener of Kanaja: Knowledge and Resource Centre at Samvada, Bangalore. She completed her PhD in Cultural Studies at the Centre for the Study of Culture and Society, Bangalore/Manipal University. She has taught courses on Literary and Cultural Studies, Gender Studies, Research Methodology and courses on Wellness and Justice. Her published research is on culture, gender, globalisation, cinema, sexuality, caste, censorship and law, publicness, education and pedagogy. She has also been a co-director of the Bangalore Queer Film Festival since 2009. She has been a member of Raahi’s Board of Trustees since December, 2020.
